The account details in the local currency are used to open the account in US dollars. Once the account is opened, customers may request a personalized debit card, selecting the name and color of the card of their choice from up to eight model options. The card is delivered via courier to the customer's mailing address. Should the customer require any changes to this address, they can update it during account activation.

Transfers between the two accounts are processed in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This enables customers to make transfers and new contributions even while traveling. Most importantly, funds are made available instantly, allowing customers to use the funds immediately after the transfer has been completed. In addition to purchases made with a physical VISA card, we also offer a virtual card for online transactions, such as e-commerce purchases, accommodation bookings, and car rental, among other possibilities.

In short, customers can open an international account in a few minutes with no paperwork, digitally, and with a low-friction process. Since its launch in July 2023, the product has seen over 180,000 accounts opened, exceeding initial expectations for the service's first year. During the same period, the My Account debit card was used in 152 countries and in 102 different currencies.
