Electronic banking for Individuals - application Pekao24 for tablets Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2016

Application ‘Pekao24 for tablets’ is dedicated for the still increasing number of Individual Clients in Bank Pekao using tablets for daily banking. The aim was to provide banking clients with most important financial information at glance together with the best in class user experience supported by clear and suggestive visualization that makes easier to learn the balance, spending, cash flow etc. Bank Pekao conducted a survey among electronic banking users to know the preferences of devices and functions usage. This led to the conclusion that clients need at home more comfortable access to their finances and expect another kind of data presented than in mobile or internet services. Therefore application ‘Pekao24 for tablets’ combines functions from the current internet banking service with enhanced personal finance tools and delivers to the client aggregated information about his spending spitted in categories such as home, children, travel. Further depicts cash flow on current accounts, cards and credits and summarize available balance and spent means for each kind of product. Summaries appear in the form of circles, the larger the higher spending in this category. The concept of the new application is based on experiences of banking experts and the project created by external supplier of IT solutions well known on Polish banking market. The project was conducted by Direct Channels Department in collaboration with IT Division and Marketing Department. Present competitors on Polish markets do not offer so advanced solution dedicated for tablets which contains Personal Finance Management tools.
