Credit Card Application via Straight Through Process Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2016

Maybank2u Malaysia has implemented straight through process for below Card facility: (i) Credit Card Application (ii) EzyPay Plus (Instalment Plans) Application (iii) Balance Transfer Customer can apply and complete the entire Credit Card application including document submission via internet banking or mobile application, where Maybank will provide instant decision. This capability created convenient and ease of application for customers where they are able to apply for a Maybank Credit Card, EzyPay Plus or Balance Transfer anytime, anywhere. With straight through application, completed application will reach the processing system almost instantly and cut short the processing time including data entry and Decisioning. System is built to automatically filter and qualify customers that are eligible and able to have instant decision. Upon Decisioning, if customer do not qualify based on the credit check, an email and sms will be sent immediately to customer to inform of the rejected status. If customer met the credit check, bank officer will verify the supporting documents submitted by customer during application, where an email and sms will also be sent immediately to customer upon approval. Customer can then collect the new Card at the selected branch on the date stated in the email approval for New to Maybank customers. For Maybank customers, the card will be couriered to their mailing address for their convenient. This initiative is a collaboration work between Virtual Banking team and Credit Card team in Maybank. Since implementation, we have been getting encouraging result for Card Application, Balance Transfer and EzyPay Plus.
