Startup Branch Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2022 - Winner

We offer various financial and non-financial benefits to the new generation technology initiatives in line with our entrepreneurial activities, which we have continued with the understand coming from our founding mission and has accelerated with our digital transformation journey. Technology-based new generation startups, which have sustainable, innovative and fast-scaling business model, are carried out with low equity and few employees, have their own financial needs. We designed a new business model, which serves products and services for the needs of ecosystem stakeholders like technology startups, mutual funds, angel investors, entrepreneurship platforms, and launched the Istanbul Startup Branch, exclusive for entrepreneurs, in November 2021. Our second startup branch was launched in İzmir in October 2022. The third one, Ankara Startup Branch, will be launched in December 2022. Startup Branches not only offer banking product and services but also ensure consultancy and cooperation opportunities in accounting and finance management, investment processes, human resources and legal issues as well as network support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We bring together participants with mentors, investors, and leading stakeholders of the entrepreneurship ecosystem at various events we organize in our branch. We organized 18 events at Istanbul Startup Branch between November 2021 and October 2022. Currently, the branch has 475 customers composed of 316 enterprises, 137 entrepreneurs, and 22 investors and investment funds. Startup Branches serve the startups on an individual basis and offer them customized products and services tailored to their needs, unlike traditional banking.
