At CIMB Niaga, we have always been digitally aspired and we have a suite of innovations backing our claim as a digital pioneer, including the bank which first installed ATM in Indonesia, first launched mobile-based e-Wallet (known as Rekening Ponsel) and first introduced a digital branch (known as the Digital Lounge). Our mobile banking service playfully addressed as OCTO Mobile is listed as service with the most comprehensive features currently available in the Indonesian market. Aside from functionalities, we have also identified UI/UX, security, education/awareness and promotion as key success factors. Combination of these key success factors creates a strong pull for our existing users to on-board to OCTO Mobile. More than that, introduction to OCTO Mobile when performed early at the start of relationship is analogous to a quote “teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Teaching and enabling customers an access to digital means we build a lifetime relationship.
