For Banco de Bogotá customers, the friction of knowing and registering third-party accounts for transfer funds is eliminated, and now offers the alternative that with just the recipient's cellphone number and a few clicks you can send money quickly, safely and without charge and in real time. In this way, we implementated “Cel2Cel”, the first digital money transfer hub for any financial institution mobile app in Colombia, allowing customers to transfer funds to other accounts at no cost, not just inside our own Banco de Bogotá or Grupo Aval users, but also for Transfiya (money transfer) enabled institutions and digital wallets such as Dale! accounts. For the recipient, Cel2Cel guarantees the automatic receipt of their money without having to manage the reception of their money through any other channel, this allows to the recipient to reduce their uncertanity of recieve or send money through digital platforms. We aimed to provide our clients with a solution that simplifies the transaction process by eliminating the need for registration. Our goal was to offer an experience without charges, online, with minimal steps required to complete the transaction. Additionally, we wanted to improve the trust relationship with our customers by incorporating a method to verify the destination account holder's name before finalizing the transaction, all at no cost to the user.
