This innovation integrates various technologies and leverages on the Maldivian Govt Electronic Identity system eFaas to allow Maldivians to submit account opening applications online. The journey is connected to our Core Banking system and will provide the customer their Account number within seconds of submission. The account created is active and customer can proceed to deposit funds, and register for internet banking by themselves immediately. Customers can also drop in to any of our distribution centers across the nation to pick a card for their account. They just need to walk in pick and activate through internet banking or any of our self service banking machines. This the first in Maldives Instant Account Opening Journey which includes instant card and instant internet banking.
