NBK has the highest card spend in Kuwait with the widest credit and pre-paid portfolio in Kuwait serving from the mass customer up to HNI customer and corporate customers through range of products from Master Card, Visa and Diners with a portfolio of 20 credit and 11 pre-paid products. NBK tied up with multiple external parties to provide the best cash back offers in Kuwait, satisfying the customer needs with options to choose spend tier or merchant category tiers for cash back. Launching the KWT Visa Infinite card - a uniquely designed credit card that enables customers to earn up to KD1000 (USD 3,300) in cashback - the highest cashback offer in Kuwait. KWT card has created a buzz in the market with positive feedback from customers, schemes and in social media from the card design to features and benefits. For the first time in Kuwait, customers can activate the card using NFC Card activation service, simply by tapping the card on the Smartphone to direct to the Activation page on NBK Mobile Application, without the need to visit an ATM or calling the Contact Center. The development of the card included full buy-in from the organization and management perspective with fast tracked full support from IT on the project from day one. Additionally, management gave full trust and flexibility to create the card like no other in Kuwait, involved departments included Products- Card Team, Card Operations, Marketing and Branding.
