Innovation presentation
Generali GC&C is implementing and supporting an innovative service named Deep Property to perform data augmentation on building-level data. Deep Property provides an easy access to risk-relevant information on properties, deep down to single buildings. The aim is to improve re/insurance efficiency (e.g. underwriting, pricing, risk modelling, etc.), by means of proprietary AI-based techniques applied on geospatial datasets. Through remote sensing techniques, Deep Property can assess and keep a record of many specific features of buildings (year of construction, materials, number of floors, presence of solar panels and so on) within a short span of time and without any geographical bounds. Generali GC&C, apart from being an early adopter, is supporting the service by providing insurance-related competencies. This is also certified by a signed partnership with Ticinum Aerospace. High-quality data translates into accurate risk prediction and improved insurance protection for our customers.
