BankaBot is an artificial intelligence powered app embedded in Teams both mobile and PC version, provides quick answers to frequent questions about Bancassurance asking by the sales coaches.
Innovation presentation
As AgeSA Bancassurance team in the company, our one of crucial professions is being a guider for sales coaches who realize selling activities in the market. In consideration of our guidance rule, sales coaches ask many questions, and we share lots of time to give answers to them. That’s why we developed an app “BankaBot” embedded into Teams program (both PC & mobile).
The origin story of the project is that before “BankaBot” project, an FAQ document (Sales Coaches Handbook) was created for sales coaches, and they were wasting lots of time to find enough information. "BankaBot" is embedded into Teams application to support this work with artificial intelligence and to make it more accessible for sales coaches.
There were some pain points for sales coaches such as;
• Failure to provide a quick solution when faced with a problem
• Inability to access information instantly when they needed
• No awareness of past experiences and the same problems/solutions experienced in different regions; shortly they reach the existing solution later.
Sales coaches usually was trying to solve a problem by asking their questions to related departments in headquarters via e-mail, telephone call, whatsapp and teams.
After this project, both sales coaches and bancassurance employees in headquarter can easily access information about sales campaigns, product details, policy collection processes, operational processes, practical suggestions for technical problems and “BankaBot” offers solutions for these. Thus, the teams in headquarter save lots of time and able to share their times to other business while “BankaBot” is getting like a new employee who answer all question instead of us.
Uniqueness of the project
“BankaBot” is an application made for the first time in the Bancassurance channel, supported by artificial intelligence, answers the questions asked by sales coaches, improving itself and enriching its content day by day. Before “BankaBot” project, sales coaches were searching answers from handbook on AgeSA internal web user pages.
