Chevrolet Auto insurance (Seguro Chevrolet) is a value-added product of GM Financial Chile, distributed through Chevrolet dealerships. We have tackled a critical pain point of customers: Getting in touch with their insurance in the moments of truth. We have implemented a very effective and straightforward solution to ease the customer journey. Based on a QR code sticker delivered to the customer at the point of sale, we have seized the widespread use of QR codes to implement an agile, intuitive and easy communication channel. When scanning the QR code with a mobile device, the customers are directed to "Mi Seguro Chevrolet", a WebApp where they can select a communication channel by only clicking on: Get a phone call from the assistance company; Get in touch with an assistant via WhatsApp; Proceed to digital self-service interface to request roadside assistance or submit a claim.
"Mi Seguro Chevrolet" is now enhanced with mobility solutions and benefits to become the first Mobility Ecosystem associated to an Auto Insurance program, providing the customers a one-stop solution center.
Uniqueness of the project
Mi Seguro Chevrolet is the first comprehensive solution of this kind in Chile in the auto-insurance market. We have developed this customer-driven approach by focusing only on a frictionless process that could permit a technology-driven enhancement in a second phase.
Our focal point was enhancing Customer Access, allowing a simple and effective communication in the two most critical moments of truth the customers face: Assistance and Claims.
But also, we added tangible benefits associated with recurrent mobility situations: Discounts in gas stations; Discounts in parking systems; Access Car sharing.
