"Noleggio + Generali" project represents a turning point in Generali's motor strategy. It offers a unique opportunity to redefine the role of Agencies, no longer just as insurance consulting centers, but also as mobility solution hubs. By integrating long-term car rental with comprehensive insurance, we are transforming from a traditional insurer into a full-service mobility provider -leveraging our trusted agency network to offer customers a seamless, all-inclusive solution. The project enriches the Agency Network's offering by providing integrated solutions that combine long-term rental with premium insurance coverage, creating an embedded insurance model. With reference to this last element, a distinctive feature of the project is that the insurance coverage is issued by the Agencies, thus remaining in its portfolio. This approach, which enhances the Agencies' distribution capacity, creates a 360° mobility ecosystem, including solutions for electric mobility, which is increasingly central in the modern landscape. This innovation positions our agencies as mobility consultants, enhancing their role as key advisors while unlocking new revenue streams (rental revenues are added to the insurance one).

For Generali, this is a strategic differentiator and a major growth opportunity. Rental represents a growing market (with double-digit rates in recent years), valued at €10.6 billion in '23 - it is gaining increasing importance in registrations in the face of a stable automotive market.
