Safety and protection are at the core of Allianz. This is our mission and motto. Since 2019, Allianz Partners has built itself a leading market position in the micromobility segment, thus allowing to understand early in the journey that current urban infrastructure could potentially pose a threat to the safety of bikes and e-scooters riders. However, current legislation does not impose wearing a helmet as an element of safety and prevention, unless a minor aged until 13 years old.
Cosmo Connected contacted Allianz Partners in 2023, with the objective of making helmets a fashion topic while enhancing riders protection. It was thus only natural that a global partnership would start, with the aim to protect and prevent serious accidents to happen on the road, by embedding Personal Accident into the helmet.
