Innovation presentation

Access to doctors and specialist tests is a top priority for 7 out of 10 people, according to a study by Allianz Partners, VeloBank's partner in developing the Medical Package. We understand that long waiting times for medical appointments can be frustrating, and not everyone can afford expensive private healthcare plans or receive employer-provided benefits. To solve this, we created an affordable Medical Package with the potential to lower the cost to 0 PLN. By leveraging the fact that bank customers form a lower-risk group than the general market, we were able to significantly reduce the base price, making high-quality healthcare accessible to nearly everyone. Customers who actively bank with VeloBank and join the VeloKorzysci loyalty program can further reduce their costs. The most engaged customers can save up to 1,296 PLN ($324) per year for an individual plan and 4,140 PLN ($1,035) per year for a family plan. This way, we reward loyalty with premium healthcare access. This unique solution was previously unavailable in Poland. Thanks to our partnership with Allianz Partners, we are the first to combine banking services with insurance in the form of a medical package. Before launching the product, VeloBank conducted extensive market research, surveying 603 customers via a 20-minute CAWI interview. The results confirmed that healthcare concerns are a major issue for bank customers, and both public healthcare and private medical subscriptions often fail to guarantee timely and high-quality services. The development process involved multidisciplinary teams from VeloBank and Allianz Partners, including bancassurance, marketing, quality research, CRM, and sales implementation teams. Collaboration with the VeloKorzyści program ensured attractive incentives for active banking customers. Over 1,300 VeloBank customers are already benefiting from the Medical Package, making healthcare more accessible and financially sustainable. The Medical Package is the main driver of VeloKorzyści's popularity, with 120,000 customers already enrolled, gaining the right to purchase a discounted Medical Package.
