My Finances – Boosting Financial Education with AI Qorus-Infosys Finacle Banking Innovation Awards 2025

Minhas Finanças is a personal financial management solution based on artificial intelligence, developed by Banco do Brasil to support individual clients in organizing their finances. Using generative AI, the tool offers recommendations for financial management, automates expense tracking, and promotes financial education, contributing to more conscious decision-making and greater financial control. The initiative emerged from the realization that low financial literacy directly impacts the economic well-being of Brazilians, increasing delinquency rate. The solution stands out by integrating advanced technology, human curation, and an educational approach, being one of the few to use generative AI in that matter. Inspired by the growing demand for intelligent financial services and the advancement of AI technologies, the tool was designed based on consumer behavior studies and machine learning. The project involved a multidisciplinary team including AI professionals, data scientists, IT developers, financial product managers, and business specialists.
