VakıfBank’s enviromentally friendly Recycle Card has received 1825 applications from our customers in just three month. This strong performance clearly demonstrates the growing appreciation for the product’s environmentally conscious features and tangible benefits. Additionally, ongoing and planned advertising campaigns across digital and traditional media platforms point to promote the card to a broader audience. These campaigns will communicate the card’s innovative and environmentally friendly vision to more consumers, reinforcing its value within the framework of sustainable finance. As a credit card produced entirely from recycled materials, the Recycle Credit Card stands as a tangible example of environmental responsibility within the financial sector. The card is made from recycled PVC (rPVC), which generates 69% fewer carbon emissions than standard PVC cards. With every 1 million cards created, 9 tons of CO₂ emissions and 4.42 tons of pure PVC are saved, significantly reducing the environmental impact. For instance, while the production of 30,000 PVC cards would result in 623,61 kg of CO₂ emissions, switching to rPVC for the same number of cards has led to a reduction of 304,2 kg in carbon emissions.
