The business problem was delayed commission payments for Corporate Business Correspondents (CBCs) and their BC agents, leading to inefficiencies and demotivation. The existing process involved manual tracking, paperwork, and long turnaround times (TAT). • Actions Taken & Role of Technology o Developed the Centralized Commission Payment System (CCPS). Designed a fully digital platform for seamless commission disbursement. o Integrated with e-OTS and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for automated transaction processing. • Automated Data Flow & Validation o Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) extracts e-OTS transactions and pushes them to CCPS. o Maker-Checker system at HO and branch user validates eligibility before approval. • Payment and Settlement: o Centralized Payment initiated to CBC’s after due approval against uploaded invoice with compliance of GST/TDS provisions. • Digital Invoice Submission & Approval Workflow o CBCs upload invoice details digitally, eliminating paperwork. o HO performs due diligence and initiates payments based on uploaded invoices.
• Real-Time Notifications & Tracking o Automated SMS alerts notify BCs to collect payments from CBCs. o Real-time tracking of invoices & commission records improves monitoring
