Innovation presentation

Allianz Trade pay is an innovative B2B payment solution addressing a critical market gap: while 95% of B2B buyers prefer to pay on terms, less than 10% of merchants can offer credit online. This API-driven platform transforms traditional trade credit insurance into real-time, transactional coverage, enabling merchants to offer deferred payments instantly and securely. Integrating trade credit insurance, fraud protection, digital buyer onboarding, and financing solutions, it covers the entire order-to-cash cycle.

The development and deployment of Allianz Trade pay involve collaboration across six key departments: Transformation, Sales, Marketing, Credit Intelligence, Operations, and Legal.

Launched in 2024, Allianz Trade pay has facilitated over 117,000 transactions representing US$475 million in gross merchandise value (GMV) across 30 countries. The platform has delivered a 35% improvement in conversion rates and a 20-40% increase in average order value. Today, 2,000 merchants and 24,000 B2B purchasers actively use the solution.
