Innovation presentation
To improve our company health insurance clients’ access to health services, we are conducting a pilot in which we are offering the chance to have a “remote medical office”. Implementing an innovative, certified, medical device that conducts a series of medical exams, allows video appointments done at a company’s closed office to be closer to an in-person appointment. This service reduces visits to clinics or hospitals, while ensuring medical needs are not left unattended. For our company clients it translates into a reduction in absenteeism, which is highly valued. It also allows to improve the employee value proposition, which increases employee commitment, contributing to an increase in retention rates. To support companies in communicating this service to their employees, the communication department has prepared a set of materials that are made available.
This project aims at improving our company health insurance value proposition with a differentiating factor from competitors. It is the transformation team that has been managing this project, together with the product, commercial and marketing departments.
We have just recently implemented the “remote medical office” in 2 companies and are scheduling the next implementations that are part of the pilot pipeline. As soon as we reach enough volume in appointments in the pilot, we will analyze the results to define the business model we will use to escalate.
While still gaining traction in the 2 companies where the “remote medical office” has been implemented, the feedback so far has been highly positive. Companies are thankful for the opportunity to try this service firsthand and are recognizing the impact it has in promoting employees’ health.
