Generali Mobilité is an on-board telematics solution on a mobile application, designed with Jeniot, a subsidiary of the Generali Group, enabling French professional fleets to reduce their claims and improve the driving style of their employees without the installation of a box. The app automatically detects trips, analyzes risky behaviors, and provides a driving score, complemented by a gamified experience that helps drivers adopt safer behaviors. For managers, a web dashboard aggregates fleet data, in an anonymized way, in order to identify levers for improvement.

 

The solution responds to a major challenge: occupational road accidents are the second leading cause of death at work in France, while the use of a telephone while driving triples the risk of accidents. In 2025-2026, in a B2B market in high demand for prevention, Generali Mobilité provides an innovative alternative with a real impact for companies.

This project mobilizes multidisciplinary teams in France (innovation, products, operations, data, IT, legal, security) and within Jeniot in Italy (digital services, data science, development). After the pilot phase launched at the end of 2025, the goal is to achieve a gradual national rollout in 2026, integrated into the Generali customer portal. This trajectory makes Generali Mobilité a strategic lever for improving road safety, reducing insurance costs and strengthening the insurer-customer relationship.
