Innovation presentation
Music Care is a digital health therapy (Class I DM) that uses exclusive standardised musical sequences to reduce pain and anxiety and improve sleep. Its effectiveness is based on music-induced neuroregulation and a “U-shaped sequence” that gradually guides the physiological state towards calm. The protocols and algorithms are clinically validated and supported by extensive scientific literature.
There is a significant need for this type of treatment (chronic pain, sleep disorders, overuse of opioids and anxiolytics). Music Care offers a non-pharmacological alternative that is measurable and compatible with the recommendations of the HAS and WHO on artistic interventions in healthcare.
The solution stands out for its combination of clinical science, standardised musical protocols, medical device status and deployment in hospitals, businesses and homes. With over 150 publications, more than 600 establishments equipped, over 3 million treatments delivered and a 95% renewal rate in healthcare establishments, the solution has demonstrated a robust and measurable impact.
For insurers, Music Care addresses psychosocial risks (PSRs), sleep disorders and musculoskeletal pain through integrated prevention programmes.
The launch of major public events such as Rock en Seine with Generali in 2025 demonstrates the ability to roll out a non-drug-based prevention programme with a high profile and a ‘real-life’ impact, embodying the insurer's role in society (to be finalised with the project leaders). With Generali, Music Care paves the way for a new model of cultural health, where music becomes a real public health tool and festivals are transformed into prevention spaces accessible to all.
Beyond the event illustration, this approach marks a paradigm shift: via Generali, taking Music Care out of the medical field alone and bringing it into the public sphere. By intervening upstream, in cultural and mainstream contexts, the programme shifts from a curative approach to a preventive, accessible and destigmatised one. This opening up constitutes a real innovation in terms of use: it transforms a therapeutic tool into a lever for public health, integrating prevention where people live and gather.
