Innovation presentation

The Problem:

The KSA insurance industry faces significant challenges from informal, unauthorized distribution networks, often unlicensed individuals operating via digital channels like Haraj. This creates systemic risks, including data manipulation, mis-selling, and non-compliance with Saudization mandates.

The Solution:

QAID addresses this by formalizing the sector through a "Phygital" (Physical + Digital) model. The program onboards Saudi nationals as authorized advisors, equipping them with digital tools to sell insurance products within their local networks.

Implementation:

The initiative utilizes a controlled, digitized onboarding and training process, requiring mandatory IFCE certification. The platform is fully integrated with national systems like Nafath and Absher for identity validation and secure, real-time policy issuance. A dedicated back-end dashboard allows for granular monitoring of advisor performance and compliance via a Balanced Scorecard approach.
