CASH SERVICES unveils initial sites for enhanced banking accessibility

19/01/2024 News

CASH SERVICES, the collaborative proximity banking initiative by BNP Paribas, Crédit Mutuel, CIC, and Société Générale, has commenced the deployment of around sixty sites across France. This deployment is part of a broader plan, with the aim of reaching nearly 7,000 CASH SERVICES sites, both in and outside bank branches, equipped to meet customers' needs by 2026.

Initially, these CASH SERVICES sites will offer customers the convenience of free cash withdrawals, with plans to provide a full range of services by the end of 2024.

CASH SERVICES aims to provide customers from the four banking groups with an increased number of free cash withdrawal points. Additionally, customers will enjoy the benefits of self-service banking, including check deposits, cash deposits, printing their RIB (Relevé d'Identité Bancaire), initiating transfers, and accessing their account balance and history.

By 2026, with the full deployment of CASH SERVICES sites, customers will experience enhanced accessibility to cash and banking services nationwide, offering up to three times more proximity for clients of these four banking groups.

This expansion is complemented by the launch of the website www.cash-services.fr, providing clients with essential information, including the geographical locations of each CASH SERVICES site.

The oversight and development of CASH SERVICES are managed by the company 2SF. As a collaborative effort among BNP Paribas, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, and Société Générale, 2SF will also extend a commercial offering to municipalities interested in establishing a cash services point, even in the absence of a local branch from these affiliated banking groups.
