Revolut, the leading financial app, is pioneering a game-changing innovation for UK customers: eSIMs. As the first financial institution in the UK to offer this service, Revolut is enabling travelers to access data plans in over 100 countries without the fear of hefty roaming charges.

Installing an eSIM is effortless through the Revolut app, providing a fully digital and seamless experience. Customers can easily top up their data with just a few clicks, ensuring connectivity wherever they go. The eSIM can be used alongside a physical SIM card, allowing for convenient network switching, ideal for frequent travelers.

Revolut's Ultra plan offers an exclusive benefit of 3GB of global data usage per month, while all UK customers can enjoy an introductory offer of 100MB of mobile data at no cost if they install their eSIM by May 1, 2024.

Beyond data connectivity, the eSIM ensures uninterrupted access to the Revolut app, even when data limits are reached. This means customers can continue managing their finances, including topping up data, without consuming their mobile data allowance.

Elyas Sadou, Product Owner of eSIM at Revolut, emphasized the company's commitment to simplifying customers' lives. The eSIM eliminates the hassle of high roaming prices and the inconvenience of acquiring physical SIM cards, offering seamless access to mobile data.

Revolut's launch of eSIM aligns with its comprehensive approach to supporting travelers throughout their journey. From booking accommodations to accessing emergency medical coverage, Revolut offers a suite of services designed to enhance the travel experience. With eSIMs, customers can explore the world confidently, free from excessive roaming charges.
