The sixth annual Efma-Finalta Multichannel Banking in Europe Report is now available. According to the report, improving cooperation between branches and direct channels is the top strategic priority for nearly half of Europe's retail banks in 2011. The next most critical improvements are increasing online banking sales functionality, transaction migration and improving mobile internet banking services. The 2010 Report is structured around the following sections: 1.Examining Multichannel Heads’ improvement plans for the next 12 months; 2.Identifying the top priorities for change; and 3.Discussing the impact of multichannel banking growth on branches. This joint research with Efma complements Finalta's in-depth benchmarking and best practice work. Over 90 respondents from across Europe participated in this year's survey. The predictions for multichannel development over the next three years will have a significant impact across European retail banks.
