Mobile transactions: purchase in establishments of the Cielo network, money withdrawal (BDN, Bradesco Expresso and Banco 24horas), transfers between clients (P2P), Claro mobile phone recharge, account balance/statement and payment of bills via mobile.

Innovation presentation

Concept: Prepaid card as electronic means of payment to the non-bancarized, with no need of income proof and credit assessment, used through mobile phone or conventional plastic. Objectives: Financial inclusion (bancarization), formalization (replacing cash by electronic currency) and usability (convenience and security in daily transactions with the use of password and confirmation text message with available balance at every completed transaction). Competitors: Mundo livre prepaid card, BRB, Acessocard, Meu Cartão Dinheiro, Conta Super, Cartão Caixa Corinthians, Oi Carteira e Zuum. Involved Areas: Products, IT, Marketing, Products and Services, Channels, Bradesco Expresso, Prime and Retail, Customer Service, Organization and Methods, Security, Compliance and Legal. Commercial launching in May/14 in São Paulo (SP) and Salvador (BA) with initial growth base. National launching strategy and actions for base activation in the approval phase. The product has excellent acceptance and two major cultural challenges: 1) replace cash by electronic means of payment, and 2) change in the traditional use of the physical car by virtual through the mobile phone.
