Innovation presentation

In alignment with SCB’s strategic direction to drive digital transformation in Thailand, SCB is proactively building a digital ecosystem for universities by embedding new technologies into students’ and professors’ learning and teaching experiences. Specifically, the initiative focuses on enhancing the financial literacy both in the academic and lifestyle through development of financial simulation tools and learning curriculums, as well as enabling a cashless society with mobile payments across various services. With the digital transformation in mind, SCB also aims to bridge the technology gaps by partnering and developing an integrated technology platform from university mobile applications, to one-stop-service kiosks, and virtual classrooms. Such innovations are currently helping universities to promote the concept of digital learning ecosystem enabling students to manage their academic life on-the-go. Both students and professors are now empowered to seamlessly access and interact with the university through instant access to all news and updates, including registering and check-ins to events anywhere, anytime with their personalized QR code and virtual ID. Eventually, the integrated platform shall enable SCB to expand their customer base specifically on the new generation in addition to gaining the analytical capability to realize and understand the changing behaviour of the targeted audience. Having built and transform the universities would surely put SCB in a strategic position to further grow and compete dynamically in its shifting financial service industry.
