Bradesco MEI Account – Solutions for the Individual Micro Entrepreneur Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2018

MEI – Individual Micro Entrepreneur is the simplest type of company (a kind of SME) which allows formalizing the small entrepreneur that invoices up to 81,000 Brazilian Reals per year. With it, it is possible to obtain the legal documentation to exercise his activities and to get benefits such as Social Security coverage, at low cost and without bureaucracy. In order to position Bradesco as a partner Bank supporting the Individual Micro Entrepreneur – MEI, it was created the “mei.bradesco” portal, providing a set of solutions to make easier the daily activities of these businessmen. Options are offered, such as guidelines for formalization of a MEI, accounting consultancy, document issuing for paying taxes, and financial management through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), among other facilities. A portfolio was created with Bradesco financial solutions, tailored to the needs of this customer profile as well as non-financial solutions (provided by our supporting partners), such as business management system, as for example: ­ The customer can create a Virtual Store (e-commerce) with few clicks with free domain and hosting, integrated with ERP, with the post offices and the main means of payment of Bradesco; ­ PDV – Checkout solution / POS (Point of Sale): Instantly records sold products and payment method used. Integrates all the operations made in the PDV with other business areas, allowing a comprehensive vision of the undertaking; ­ Cash Flow: Follows up all the daily, monthly and annual incoming and outgoing financial transactions (Accounts received / payed, accounts receivable and payable). There are also offered courses and tips supported by the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE).
