BCA x Accounting Software Provider Collaboration to facilitate MSME Business financial management Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2021

MSMEs are the largest business segment in Indonesia, which plays a major role in driving Indonesia economy. The majority of these businesses are still run traditionally, and one of the common challenge in this MSME business is the difficulty in reconciliation and financial administration. Generally, they still do the business operation manually which caused the time-consuming business process. Whereas, in order to have sustainable and growing business, requires fast transaction reconciliation and also accurate financial report. As part of BCA's contribution to support Indonesia's economy, particularly in MSME segment, BCA collaborates with Accounting Software Providers to accommodate seamless payment identification and financial reconciliation through BCA APIs. With this collaboration, customer’s bank account statement is automatically connected to the Accounting system, so the data can be directly processed further as needed, such as identifying invoice payments, reconciling daily transactions, journaling, and making financial reports. This strategic collaboration also simplifies the process of integrating customer business accounts with the BCA APIs by using the mainstream connection that has been established between BCA and the Accounting Software Provider. This is an excellent selling point considering that most of MSME doesn’t have specific IT resources to manage the integration. Currently, there’re more than 500 customers have enjoyed the convenience of BCA API. In the future, we certainly develop more solutions to accommodate and support MSME industry.
