Zurich has implemented an Artificial Intelligence tool in the process of regulating auto insurance claims that, integrated with the company's systems, is used to analyze photos sent by vehicle owners and identify the type of service to be provided – whether it is partial loss or total loss –, list the damaged parts and prices, and respective hours of labor the repair will require, thus offering a price estimate for the repair of the damaged vehicle. In many situations, if the customer chooses to repair the vehicle in one of the insurer's referenced network auto repair shops, repair approval and claim coverage confirmation are automatic.
