Citizens must access the website of the public body or the CaixaBank Portal to pay the tax they normally pay.
If CaixaBank is the payment platform provider and the institution has contracted the service, the option to pay via Bizum will be displayed along with the usual options.
When selecting Bizum as a payment method, the user will be asked for their Bizum registered phone number.
After that, the customer will be prompted to go to the banking application with which he/she uses Bizum to complete the payment.
Entering a phone number is easier than entering card details and CVV, the aim is to offer a simple and integrated user experience.
This process allows organisations and public authorities to offer tailor-made combinations of payment methods, such as "Bizum Account", "Bizum Card" or "Bizum Only", and provides easy accounting reconciliation through reporting files that identify the traceability of the collection-payment through Bizum.
