Bharatsure is transforming India’s group insurance landscape by offering Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) that enables insurers, brokers, and enterprises to launch and manage group insurance programs seamlessly. Our concept is to simplify the traditionally complex and fragmented group insurance ecosystem by providing a modular, compliance-ready technology backbone that integrates product design, distribution, and administration.

The project was born out of the need to close the alarming protection gap in India. Over 900 Million Indians don't have access to health insurance. Our approach is differentiated because there are no other players in the country enabling group insurance distribution. Group insurance, we strongly believe will solve for the protection gap in the country specially if it is done through SMEs, platforms and underserved organizations, where traditional players lacked agility and scalability.

Unlike legacy insurers and fragmented intermediaries, Bharatsure differentiates itself by being tech-native, India-centric, and focused on building trust through transparent, culturally resonant communication. Inspired by global insurtech models yet tailored to India’s regulatory and cultural realities, the initiative is driven by cross-functional collaboration across product, technology, compliance, and customer success teams. So far, Bharatsure’s infrastructure has powered thousands of group insurance programs, covering more than three hundred thousand of lives, and positioned the company as a trusted enabler of inclusive, scalable protection in the Indian market. We plan to use this Indian success to soon solve for protection gaps across the world.
