Innovation presentation

MCP (Model Context Protocol) enables structured communication between AI systems. By connecting 180’s insurance infrastructure directly to Klubi’s proprietary AI agent, Kris, we established the first AI-to-AI insurance operation in Latin America.

The embedded product is mobile phone insurance. Through MCP, 180 redesigned how protection is activated, managed, and experienced. The protocol operates throughout the entire lifecycle:180 Insurance pioneered Latin America’s first insurance operation powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP), fully conducted by AI agents and embedded across the entire customer journey. This initiative represents a first-mover structural innovation in the region: the transition from traditional embedded insurance integration to AI-native, protocol-driven orchestration.

• Context recognition within Klubi’s AI environment

• Autonomous underwriting and eligibility assessment

• Instant policy issuance

• Continuous coverage management

• AI-driven claims interaction

Instead of relying on predefined API triggers or human workflows, the system enables contextual intelligence exchange between AI agents. Kris interprets user signals within the financial journey and activates structured insurance actions through 180’s AI infrastructure in real time.

By embedding MCP across the full journey, insurance becomes a continuous protection layer rather than a transactional product moment.

This marks a strategic shift:

• From product distribution to infrastructure orchestration

• From manual processing to autonomous execution

• From reactive insurance offers to contextual activation

• From linear operational scaling to AI-enabled scalability

As the first carrier in Latin America to deploy MCP at operational level, 180 establishes a new benchmark for embedded protection. The initiative demonstrates that insurance can evolve from digitized workflows to intelligent, protocol-driven infrastructure — scalable, compliant, and context-aware by design.
