Tesla’s rapid expansion in Turkey fundamentally reshaped the electric vehicle market. In 2023, the brand reached 45,618 users, represented 10 percent of the EV market in 2024, and became the best-selling car in June 2025. Despite this significant growth, Tesla owners were not guided toward any dedicated motor or compulsory traffic insurance solution. The market offered only conventional policies designed for internal combustion vehicles, leaving a structural gap for a high-tech, fully electric customer segment. As sigortaladim.com, our objective was clear: to provide Tesla owners with an insurance experience aligned with the brand’s technological vision. We aimed to eliminate fragmented insurance processes and deliver a fully digital, personalized journey tailored specifically to electric vehicle risks. From quotation to policy issuance and claims management, we designed a next-generation insurance model that integrates Tesla-specific exposures including battery coverage, charging-related risks, and cyber protection. As Tesla’s official and exclusive insurance advisor in Turkey, we partnered with Allianz and Beloy to develop InsureMyTesla, the first insurance platform in the country built exclusively for Tesla owners. To address different customer needs, we structured the product into three customizable packages: Economic, Standard, and Super. This allowed users to select protection levels suited to their expectations while maintaining an EV-focused coverage architecture. The platform was launched at insuremytesla.sigortaladim.com and built as a fully integrated, end-to-end digital system. Users can receive a quote within seconds, purchase policies online, and submit claims digitally without paperwork or physical signatures. We reinforced the experience with clear service commitments, including a 20-second call response time and damage assessment within one business day. On-site charging assistance and cyber coverage further differentiated the model within the Turkish insurance landscape. By combining product innovation, integrated insurance technology, and a brand-specific ecosystem approach, InsureMyTesla established a new standard for electric vehicle insurance in Turkey. The initiative not only increased sales by 20 percent and exceeded industry-average customer satisfaction levels, but also demonstrated that insurance can evolve in parallel with next-generation mobility and digital consumer expectations.
