ALive Powered by AIA was created to transform the traditional insurance experience—one that is used only “when something happens”—into a proactive, everyday health and lifestyle companion built on the principle of “Care in Every Moment.” It was designed to bring AIA’s global purpose to life by helping more than one billion people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
The platform aims to:
• Build a personalized health and lifestyle ecosystem tailored to each individual
• Increase engagement through content, health features, and meaningful rewards
• Reinforce the value of insurance in customers’ everyday lives—not only during claims
Reasons behind
Modern consumers expect fast, personalized, and meaningful experiences beyond traditional protection. AIA therefore sought to create a solution that goes beyond being an insurer—becoming a long-term health partner that supports customers in every aspect of their wellbeing.
State of competition
While many health platforms exist, most are unable to seamlessly integrate health data, lifestyle behaviours, and insurance protection into one cohesive ecosystem. This is where ALive stands out—providing a comprehensive, data driven, and integrated health experience.
Inspiration
ALive draws on the principles of Predictive & Preventive Care and global HealthTech–InsurTech trends. It turns health improvement into something simple, enjoyable, and sustainable through daily habit-forming interactions.
At the heart of the platform is the concept of “Good Habits Missions.”
Users build better health through small, achievable daily tasks such as:
• Scanning meals to increase nutrition awareness
• Logging daily mood for emotional wellbeing
• Practicing Box Breathing to manage stress
• Learning financial wellness through micro‑tools
Each completed mission earns points that can be used to customize a personal avatar—making the health journey fun, engaging, and rewarding. This approach shifts the perception of health from something difficult or overwhelming into a natural and enjoyable part of everyday life.
The Good Habits Landing Page serves as the central hub, enabling users to interact with a curated set of missions that seamlessly integrate into daily routines. This transforms health from a long-term abstract goal into small actions users can take immediately.

The project is driven by multidisciplinary collaboration across Digital, Innovation, Data & Analytics, Life Insurance, Marketing, Customer Service, and numerous health and lifestyle partners.
Main results so far
ALive has shown strong and consistent growth in both user adoption and engagement.
