Up to Neşeli Patiler pet insurance, there isn’t any solution to address this pet insurance market comprehensively, there were some basic and underserved products. Hence Zurich Turkey is the pioneer in the pet insurance market with: • Product and CX Experience • Ecosystem • Business Model A. Product: Our first product Neşeli Patiler is the first pet health insurance product in the Turkish market. We designed our product to address the need of our pet friends and their parents. Considering the increasing costs of veterinary clinics of the We differentiate our packaged-based product with comprehensive coverages and unique assistant services. The package product infrastructure also helps us to continuously improve our product. • Emergency Health Package covers treatments in emergencies such as allergic shock, poisoning, or falling from a height. • Comprehensive Health Package covers treatments in all emergency situations and additional health problems like skin disease or cancer Our product is the only product that offers free microchip implantation and free vaccination. In addition to inpatient, outpatient, and 3rd party liability products coverages and eye and ear cleaning and nail cutting assistant services. From sales experience to possible treatment, we provide a fully digital and paperless customer experience for our customers from our user-friendly mobile site. B. Ecosystem: We design an ecosystem for pet health insurance where network to make our insured pets and customers happy With our exclusive partnerships, we have developed the unique Zurich ecosystem and we fully “own” it. In addition to that we support this ecosystem with our plug-and-play infrastructure which can be easily adopted by different distribution channels with customized solutions. We have three pillar model where Zurich is at the center layer of our model. With our exclusive re-insurer, our exclusive vet network, and TPA for pre-approval and claims handling process partner, we developed the fundamentals of our ecosystem. On top of our model, we have different distribution partners: Zurich Online Sales Point: For our pet insurance, we created a fully digital mobile experience with a rebranded microsite with our new illustrative world called Neşeli Patiler (happy paws). • Neşeli Patiler mobile sales experience is the only online experience where users can just use their browsers without any download or log in. With 3 +1 steps, users can buy Neşeli Patiler products and receive an SMS of the pdf policy immediately. If users quit after first step are called by the call center • Our customers who see the digital marketing advertisement can fill out the form within 1 minute. If users quit the process without completing the purchase, they are called back by the call center. Partnersips: Thanks to our ecosystem structure, we have partners from various sectors from e-commerce to dog social network apps. • N11 & Sigortaladım: We made a long-term exclusive agreement with n11, Turkey's 3rd largest e-commerce company with ~100k registered pet segment customers, for the sale of pet insurance. We have also created products tailored to the needs of n11 customers. • Private Animal Hospital Association: With our exclusive agreement with the Private Animal Hospitals Association, we aim to reach 140,000 customers from 40 pet hospitals in the network of the association. The first pet hospital-oriented, comprehensive pet insurance product was exclusively developed for this project. • Petpaw: We have an exclusive sales agreement with the mobile app platform for pet owners to match and breed their pets with others’ with ~20K users. • Doggo: We have an exclusive sales agreement with the mobile app platform for the pet walker app. • Bankassurance: We have exclusive bancassurance partnerships with ING and BNP Paribas, bancassurance customers-oriented pet insurance products will be on shelves soon. Business Model: We will explain it in the next part. C. Business Model We are invisibly leveraging the full pet ecosystem and creating a new business model for the pet insurance market. As Zurich Turkey, we do believe in the power of co-opetition. • How we benefit from this business model? • Our Pet Ecosystem creates a plug and play business model which could be easily adoptable by other companies • Optimal effort for Zurich Turkey • We created a new income model from management fees as TPA in addition to UW income • With this business model, we expand our potential customer portfolio • We expand the market and our share in the market How other insurance companies can benefit from it? • They can easily enter the market with minimum effort and customized products • They only need to do their branding and sell the product • We provide the vet network, assistance services, the claims process, after-sales services • They are partnering with Zurich Turkey that proves itself several consecutive times in customer satisfaction We implemented our first White Label Project with an insurance company, within a few weeks thanks to our fully owned, plug and play ecosystem.
