mAccountant - mBank’s Automated Accounting System Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2016 - Winner

At mBank we believe that SME banking and accounting could be simpler and automatized to a great extent. This is why mBank launched its largest SME initiative till date. mAccountant Automated Accounting - strongest integration of banking and accounting systems ever developed to utilize Machine Learning (ML) and Knowledge Work Automation to automatize bookkeeping, tax calculations and to provide contextual assistance. Utilizing ML saves time - client gets back up to a week in a month spent on business, not paperwork. It also reduces cost of service which enabled us to offer significantly lower prices of bookkeeping. mAccountant system is available in mBank’s internet banking, under one login with personal and business finances. The core functionalities are: • Automated Advisor - AI based system that learns client’s characteristic and automatizes settlements, document issuing and constantly reconciles books for mistakes that generate tax penalty risk • Two-click invoicing that automatically monitors due status • Running full accountancy by professional accountant with live view in IB There are 4 on-line bookkeeping suppliers and one bank offering simplified invoicing, but no bank on Polish or Global market offers similar solution for SME customer. Our broad inspiration included Google Inbox, Blackline and Intuit, but no specific inspiration exists. mAccountant was created by large (50+) team form IT, UIUX, Business, Data Analytics and Marketing closely working with CyberProductivity S.A. – dynamic, most innovate Polish start-up, responsible for core the systems and knowledge work automation. Since launch in 02.2016 almost 50% of SMEs that started with mBank opted for mAccountant.
