Completing the product offering and coherent with the positioning of the Bank as innovative and disruptive, focused on customer experience and process innovation, with a multichannel model that integrates human and digital, Widiba launches on the market the first mortgage that goes with the client throughout his lifetime. Why: guarantee support, simplicity, speed and a tracked process to avoid surprises: “keep thinking about your dreams, for anything else there is Widiba” How: entering the mortgage market with a distinctive value proposition regarding user experience and process innovation. What: with the first mortgage where the client feels at home not only while entering his new house but also before, during and after the purchasing process. Widiba got inspiration from players in the ecommerce sector that outstands for their disruptive and customer centric solutions, players that offer proactive and engaging services, instead of typical models and solutions of the banking sector. From the beginning, the project engaged all the bank internal structures. Started the first analysis in May 2016, in less than 7 months, Widiba launched the entire range of mortgage offer: first time buyer mortgages and remortgaging, including post selling services, on all acquisition channels (both online and physical) on bank clients and prospects. The product was launched in December 2016: since then, Widiba has been awarded from the market and recognized obtaining approval from clients, prospects and its own Advisors’ network.
