The GTE Financial App offers a user experience found exclusively through GTE's software. The most competitive GTE Financial App feature is the virtual card replacement which enables GTE members to access and control their debit and/or credit card without their physical card. GTE developed this groundbreaking innovation in self-service for their members to have instant debit/credit card replacement. The key difference between other virtual cards offered is GTE's card is not a temporary card; the card created in GTE's app is identical to the new physical card you pick up on location. This feature solidifies the credit union's position as a trendsetter within the financial app industry. Other app features include security, speed, efficiency, and the capability to chat with a live representative. Members can also pay their auto and home loans, and credit cards and transfer money to family and friends. Convenience, accessibility, and efficiency are critical to GTE's continued success and member satisfaction. Members can instantly replace missing, stolen, or fraudulent cards with virtual card replacement. Members can enter the app and tap on "Replace." Once clicked, members answer a few questions about why they need a new card and how they would like it sent. After answering, the app instantly creates a new debit or credit card. This card has a new credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. New cards can be expedited overnight, picked up at a local branch, or mailed to you with your usual mail route. Members can upload the card to either Apple or Google pay. GTE created this innovation with its members in mind to ensure banking with GTE was seamless, easy, and convenient.
