Innovation presentation
We undertake a multitude of innovation-oriented measures aimed at enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, and introducing new products and services that will boost both internal and external customer satisfaction. These efforts are anchored in a lean and agile working model, underpinned by an advanced innovation culture and a startup mentality. Through our strategic collaborations, we work towards expanding our product and service offerings to enhance service diversity and elevate customer satisfaction. Within the framework of the FRWRD Idealist Working Group, which spans across various areas of expertise within the bank, we have assembled a team of experts who support innovation processes and actively participate in the conception and evaluation of innovative ideas and projects within the bank. As part of our commitment to promoting innovation and cultivating a culture of creativity, we are proud to announce that during the second term of the Idealist Working Group, we successfully graduated 22 of our colleagues from 7 different management backgrounds, bringing the total number of Idealists to 53 over the course of two terms. In addition to our talented team, we have also initiated seven distinct projects, with one project being recognized as an Experimental Innovation Project. Through the Idealist Working Group, Yapı Kredi aims to not only foster innovative product development for customers but also create value for its employees. This initiative is designed to democratize innovation, breaking away from the notion that innovation should be the exclusive purview of a select few within the organization. The FRWRD Experimental Innovation Projects represent another significant step forward, as we now support projects aimed towards enhancing the Bank's innovative and pioneering standing. These projects are executed through a simplified, agile approval process, coupled with a dedicated budget that allows for experimentation and learning from failures. All of the departments submit their innovative projects in order to benefit from the specialized failure budget that is exclusive for experimental projects, and Idealist team projects are a natural candidate for the usage of the budget. We have introduced the FRWRD FikriniGetir (Bring Your Idea) platform, a fresh initiative that empowers all bank employees, regardless of their departments, to easily and promptly share creative and innovative ideas at any time and from anywhere within the organization. Idealists, after completing the program, are identified as Judges in FikriniGetir platform and continue to help evaluate various innovative ideas submitted. With linking Idealist Working Group with other FRWRD initiatives, a 360 degree innovation perspective is created.
