The main goal was to create convenient process of travel insurance purchase. The project was developed in cooperation with Ergo Hestia, and the insurance is sold under the brand mtu24.pl. Customers in 4 simple steps can buy the insurance: 1. Choose the region and date of travel 2. Select the insurance package 3. Provide the participants personal data (name and document number) and choose the method of payment (credit card or transfer directly from current account) 4. Authorize the purchase using mobile password (in mobile app) or SMS password (in online banking system) After purchase, policy appears in the mobile app and in Millenet online banking system. All insured individuals who have installed Bank Millennium mobile app will be able to set up the “Travel assistance” widget on the screen before logging in. The widget functions as a “panic-button” and runs without an internet connection, so the customer does not bear the extra cost of internet transfer abroad. Pressing “Travel assistance” allows for: – direct phone call to the insurer, – sending an instant message to the insurer requesting a call-back (SMS content is generated automatically and contains policy number and current location details of the user), – checking policy details, – redirecting to FAQ section.
