Allstate’s objective is to remain an innovative leader in the insurance industry. The ever changing consumer climate initiated their need to reshape the internet lead marketplace. Allstate agencies were frustrated by poor lead quality, individual contracts and lead returns with each supplier. Enterprise-wide wanted transparency into marketing spend, the flexibility to react to market needs and improve quality from their lead suppliers. Members of Allstate’s Corporate Business Development and Marketing departments looked to UE.co to build a solution.
UE.co created a platform for Allstate, The Allstate Lead Marketplace (ALM). The platform expanded the insurance company’s capabilities through streamlining the digital marketing process. Dedicated UE.co representatives from the marketing, sales, legal and technology departments oversaw the development of the project and continue to introduce new enhancements today. Currently, ALM is an InsurTech industry-leading platform used by Allstate to acquire qualified, in-market consumer leads with distribution to the appropriate agent within the organization. ALM gives agents the ability to adjust to changing market conditions and respond to a dynamic consumer landscape in real-time. Since implementing internal calls in 2016, 3.5 million opportunities have been processed through ALM, and enhanced pricing sophistication has lowered Allstate cost per policy by 8%.
Uniqueness of the project
The ALM platform is the first ever self-service, digital marketing platform; agents no longer need to connect with a vendor over the phone to submit targeted marketing campaigns. Instead, Allstate agents manage vendors and control campaigns through ALM. The platform delivers real-time, local market insights, granting users enterprise capabilities at the individual agency level. Powered by data, including consumer behavioral patterns and current market conditions, the system’s right pricing and real-time quoting process enhances the consumer experience while giving agents greater buying/negotiating control. Providing multiple avenues for consumer engagement, including mobile channels, ALM matches high-intent consumers with the most relevant agent through quality assurance and compliance capabilities. ALM improves the consumer experience as well by providing agents access to data that powers instant quotes for the consumer.
