BB Global Leads is an innovative project designed to identify expatriate clients using web session data. The primary objective is to enhance Banco do Brasil's ability to target marketing campaigns effectively and provide customized services to clients in continental Europe. The idea emerged from the need to address a substantial issue: locating and identifying clients likely to use Banco do Brasil's services in Europe. Traditional marketing campaigns were not reaching the optimal target groups, leading to missed opportunities. The inspiration for BB Global Leads came from Karen Machado, director of BBAG, who aimed to boost client numbers using data analytics. The approach was to use geographic data to identify clients located close to branches and more likely to be interested in the services offered. To set this plan in motion, Machado reached out to the International Business Unit (UNI) and the AI and Analytics Unit (UAN) to share her vision. UAN has a portfolio team, which welcomes new ideas and activates the pertinent technical teams. The implemented system has enhanced Banco do Brasil's ability to approach selected audiences effectively and showcase relevant services.
