Understanding the current scenario of pandemic and the insights we received from customers as part of our on-going research, we found out that the top priority for customers today is to protect their family, get guaranteed returns and a regular income. While these were the core customer needs from a protection and investment point of view, we also wanted to connect with our customers and convert a low engagement investment product to an engaging product. We did not want to offer just another investment product, but wanted to connect it to their life goals and making actual goal realization as part of the plan. That is how, we came up with a product which would not only protect a customer against loss of life and loss of livelihood but also help them plan for special occasions in their life. Our product has a unique first in the Indian life insurance industry feature which allows customers to choose the date on which they want to receive their benefit to realize that particular goal e.g., purchasing a car on their birthday or an international vacation on their anniversary.
