The agent-oriented mode is facing challenges in Chinese insurance industry. Rapid changes in dominant buyers, market demand and communication mode, making the traditional offline sales mode and simple script training difficult to provide agents with market competitiveness. At the same time, COVID-19 has led to an increasing demand on the part of agents for innovative sales tools. In order to solve the dilemma, continuously bring professional insurance service to customers, and meet the needs of online sales services, Ping An Life Insurance has developed an innovated one-stop tool called "AI Meeting Platform". Focusing on insurance sales scenarios, the platform provides a complete set of audio and video communication solutions, which supports agents to conduct tasks including online training, remote interaction with customers to explain products and services, offline intelligent face-to-face visits. The traditional business mode relying on offline visits has been expanded to intelligent "online + offline" dual linkage mode through the platform, which greatly meets the diverse needs of insurance sales. It also ensures the safety and compliance of the online meeting, and has since become a benchmark online product in the life insurance industry. The platform contains four core products: actual scenario training camp, intelligent meeting room, intelligent product seminar and intelligent offline visiting tool. It integrates cutting-edge AI technologies, such as intelligent speech recognition, robot real-time questions and answers, intelligent conversation assistance, audio and video calls, etc. It also establishes the three core abilities, which are learning, practicing and application, to support three corresponding scenarios that are sales, recruitment and training.
