E-Passbook functionality facilitates Post Office Savings Account customers to view their account balance, view / download mini statement, full statement (past 3 months) online by authenticating through OTP validation on their registered mobile number

Innovation presentation

->Customer can visit IPPB Webpage :

https://www.ippbonline.com/web/ippb/dop-product-payment

->Customer can Login using Registered Mobile Number and authentication through OTP.

-> After logging in, Customer Shall enter the Department of Post (DoP) Account Number of the Scheme whose details need to be fetched, Registered Mobile Number and Captcha.

->Below (Department of Posts) DOP products Balance Enquiry/ Mini Statement and Detailed Statement (upto last 3 months)can be provided:

Post Office Savings Account (SB)

National Savings Recurring Deposit Account (RD)

National Savings Time Deposit Account (TD)

National Savings Monthly Income Account (MIS)

Senior Citizens Savings Scheme Account (SCSS)

Public Provident Fund Account (PPF)

Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA)

National Savings Certificates (NSC)

Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP)

Uniqueness of the project

This feature will enable the DoP customers to view their account balance, view / download mini statement, full statement online, without having to visit the Post Office.

This will enable lesser use of Paper and will promote digital transactions.

This feature is secured using OTP verification.

E-Passbook facility will reduce the footfall coming to Post Office, thereby increasing the productivity of Post Office.
