During recent years the main authorisation mechanism of CaixaBank's digital banking has been a separate application called CaixaBank Sign.
To respond to the customers' needs and demands, given that they didn't understand the need for using more than one application when carrying out transactions, we have integrated the functionality of CaixaBank Sign into the CaixaBank Group applications.
This new authorisation method allows us to speed up the manner in which transactions are signed, the customer will no longer have to leave the application or enter their password manually, since they will only have to swipe the button to confirm the transaction.
In addition to expediting the signature process, we have also added new security protocols which enable us to deal with new cyber-fraud vectors.
These CaixaBank security controls specifically analyse each of the signatures and the customers to determine, based on the risk detected, whether we want to enable the standard signature cycle, we want to request additional authentication factors, or whether we want to reject a transaction.
