Innovation presentation

As part of the bank’s digitalization strategy, BPI is undertaking a digital transformation effort with the goal of exposing its services via micro-services. To do so and as a starting point, it has started to develop APIs that connect to its core banking platform for mortgage loans These APIs are already available to different credit partners that use them to simulate BO’s credit offer.

However, the integration process for these partners is not the most efficient and is only available to those partners with higher financial reach, as it requires some investment on their side to integrate and develop their own frontend.

The project was born with the main goal of providing a tool to all credit partners that do not have the financial reach to integrate with BPI’s APIs and develop their own frontend, as a way to tighten their relationship with the bank.

With the launch of this platform, these partners will possess the ability to generate customers profiles, perform mortgage credit simulations, and submit credit proposals, while BPI maintains the oversight of all operations within the platform’s backend.
