Innovation presentation

Concept and Objectives Aponto is a Generative AI-powered solution designed to revolutionize how open-ended survey responses are analyzed. Its core objective is to drastically reduce the time and cost associated with interpreting qualitative feedback, cutting a 25,000-hour monthly workload by up to 98%.

Reasons Behind the Project With over 150,000 responses received monthly via Microsoft Forms, teams are overwhelmed by the manual effort required to extract insights from open-text fields. This creates bottlenecks that delay decision-making and limit the ability to act on customer and employee feedback. Aponto was created to eliminate this inefficiency and unlock the full value of qualitative data.

State of Competition While there are tools that offer sentiment analysis or basic text classification, Aponto stands out by offering a fully automated, end-to-end experience tailored for survey data. It requires no technical expertise: users simply drag and drop their spreadsheet, and Aponto handles the rest, identifying open-ended questions, analyzing sentiment, clustering topics, summarizing insights, and suggesting actions.

Sources of Inspiration The solution was inspired by the growing need for agile, data-driven decision-making in banking, and by the potential of Generative AI to democratize access to advanced analytics. It also drew from internal pain points observed across departments that relied heavily on surveys but lacked the resources to analyze them efficiently.

Departments Involved The project has brought together diverse skill sets, including data science, IT infrastructure, and business units responsible for internal communications. Early adopters include managers and analysts from various regions who rely on survey data for strategic planning.

Main Results So Far

• Time-to-insight reduced from one week to minutes, enabling faster presentations and decisions. • Over R$ 1 million in cost savings already identified, based on just 16% of the potential user base. • Users can download both a PDF report and an enriched spreadsheet with sentiment and category columns, enabling deeper analysis and filtering. • The solution is scalable and universal, applicable to any team or department that uses surveys.
