Broker partnership is of the utmost importance to RSA; that’s why we invest in broker education. We have several unique accredited education programs in place. Our commitment to broker education aligns well to our overall strategy to support the broker channel by investing in best in class education programs that support the perpetuation of our broker partners’ businesses. In May 2016, we launched our innovative online learning management system, Wise Up™, which makes continuing education more convenient than ever before. Wise Up™ gives brokers the ability to complete their provincial continuing education hours on their own schedule, wherever they might be. The program can be accessed via mobile device, tablet or desktop computer — all one needs is an internet connection! Whether helping develop an organization’s future leadership or training frontline staff on regulatory changes, RSA offers innovative broker education that allows brokers to receive accredited training hours without leaving their desks. Our solution demonstrates our understanding of broker needs. As of the end of 2016, a total of 1,179 brokers completed 3,500+ courses on Wise Up™. A post-launch survey revealed that 100% of the brokers who signed up for Wise Up™ said they planned to use the platform to fulfill their ongoing edcation. Wise Up™ makes us the first insurer in Canada to provide broker education in an entirely online format. The program is already available in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador and will launch in Quebec this year.
